Nullform exists because we could not buy the midsole we wanted. The compound is a supercritical nitrogen-foamed PEBA, which gets its rebound from gas expansion rather than from a chemical blowing agent — 84% energy return measured on a 1000-cycle rig, against 68% for the EVA it replaces. The plate is a 0.9mm carbon-PA weave shaped as a shallow spoon rather than a full-length blade, which stiffens the forefoot without locking the midfoot. The upper is a single-piece engineered knit with zoned density: 4mm open structure across the toe box for splay, closing to a 1.2mm dense weave through the heel so no counter is needed. Removing the counter took 31g off the shoe.

218g is not a typo. They disappear. The knit heel held with zero slip and I expected the opposite with no counter.

Half size up if you have a wide foot — the toe box splays but the length runs short.
