Track sessions only, exactly as they say. Sharp and fast and completely wrong for an easy day.

Acidwork is a firmness experiment we decided to sell. The PEBA is foamed to the same density as Nullform and then compressed 4mm during moulding, which raises the Asker C hardness from 48 to 56 and cuts ground-contact time by about 9 milliseconds at threshold pace. That is a real gain and it costs you the cushioning at anything slower — below about 5:00/km this shoe is worse than the one it is based on, and we would rather say so than let you find out at 20km. The cage is welded TPU rather than stitched overlay, applied at 0.4mm so it restrains the midfoot without adding a seam that can rub.

Wish I had read the pace note before my long run. My mistake — it is right there on the page.
