Cinderblock is the opposite of every other shoe in the catalogue. The upper is 3.2mm full-grain — roughly three times the thickness normally used — which means it cannot be lasted by machine and is instead pulled by hand over two days. The midsole is a single slab of 58C EVA with no sculpting at all, cut on a waterjet and sanded flat. It weighs 470g and will outlast everything else we make. There is no performance argument for this shoe; it is a materials exercise we decided to sell.
