Took two months to adapt and now I cannot go back. You feel everything, which is the product.
/ / Engineering
Groundwire runs 14mm of stack, which is about a third of a modern trail shoe. There is no rock plate, so you feel every stone — that is the design intent, not an omission. Proprioceptive feedback is the point: the outsole is a 3.5mm lug on a thin 52 Shore A compound, and the midsole is 6mm of firm EVA that exists mainly to stop the lugs printing through. The upper is an unstructured mesh with a wide toe box graded 8mm wider than our standard last.

My calves were destroyed for three weeks. Fine now but the transition warning is real.
